Sailor Middenacht-Sol

Name: Sigrana
Age: Unknown
Height: 5'5", petite
Skin: Dark brown
Hair: Black, knee-length with thick bangs
Eyes: Ice blue

About: During the Silver Millennium, expatriates and exiles from the "Dark Moon" sometimes found their way into our world. A few of them even settled in a far-flung and little-explored corner of Elysion. They were seldom seen, but when they ventured onto the surface (always at night), they eventually gave rise to legends of the dark elves, or Dökkálfar.
Daughter of a minor chieftain, Sigrana had always been fascinated with the Aurora Borealis, and would often sneak aboveground to watch it for hours at a time. Eventually, she emerged into an unusually bright white night, receiving what should have been a fatal exposure to sunlight for her race. However, Sigrana carried a Sailor Crystal, which prevented the sunlight from turning her to stone. Unfortunately, while this awakened Senshi powers, she also lost her memory.
Currently, Sigrana has no real mission. She works during the day in a small occult bookstore.

Quirks:
Dislikes being a Senshi; views this as a curse.
Seldom sleeps.
Very interested in mythology and folklore.
Middenacht-Sol's tattoos and the blue streak in her hair only appear in Senshi form. The tattoos glow when she uses her powers.
She's usually accompanied by her "guardian", which looks like a bluish Will o'Wisp, though it refers to itself as fox-fire. Its name is Reva.

Senshi Name: Sailor Middenacht-Sol
Senshi Title: The Midnight Sun
Senshi Type: Lesser/Support

RoI: Solar (Dark)

Henshin: Transformation occurs automatically at sunset. In appearance, the effects start out as a blue flash, spreading into light rays which fade to reveal Middenacht-Sol.

Weapon: The veil on her head, which seems to change size and shape as needed. She can also make use of her various scarves.

Fuku Style: Non-Sol

Abilities:
"Lux Borealis": Middenacht-Sol removes her veil and performs a spinning, dance-type maneuver, flapping the veil along in her hands. This forms an aurora around the target, causing hallucinations and leaving the victim dazed. It can also be used to conceal up to three allies, but DO NOT TOUCH the aurora - it affects allies just as it affects enemies.
"False Dawn": Counteracts purely darkness-based attacks, weakens dark abilities, and can add a slight advantage to light-based attacks and abilities.
"Solar Wind": An intent-based ability. When directed at allies, can clear the effects of psychological attacks. Directed at an enemy, it can cause waking nightmares, disorientation, and the illusion of burning.

Notes: I adopted this design from Nightmare a while back, and was initially planning to use it to base another character on. That design split off so much from the adopted one that my conscience bit me, so it ended up turning into another character entirely. The adopted design is what her civilian appearance is based on.

I have some ideas for what would probably happen to her down the road, including but not limited to the true identity of her "guardian", and how she would eventually break her "curse" and gain control over her Senshi transformation.
