Furcadia stuff. I'm fond of dreambuilding, and have been at it off and on since 1999. The best way I've found to describe this to people unfamiliar with Furcadia is that it's similar to having a dollhouse. A highly-customizable, space-efficient, FREE dollhouse. It's a terrible, terrible addiction... but a very comfortable one to lounge around in.

Furcadia links are on the Links page.

Dreams

I don't have any maps to put up here yet. Rather, I do, but they need a final going-over before release. I'm not going to have the map up for the Niche until maybe Holiday of 2006; I have plans for it throughout the year, and want to keep some of it a mystery =)

Rocket City Furmeet Well, I compiled the patch, built the map and plopped down the DS for this one, at least. Amberwolf and Alexander Katz maintain it on Furc. I feel I need to advertise this dream, at least. If you want to check it out, Amberwolf has provided some simple directions HERE.

Patches

More on the way, eventually. For now, put up with the older ones.

-NOTE-
I tend to label items by which patches I found them in. There are a few patches I have on file whose creators I can't identify. If I have something wrong here, don't heitate to let me know about it so I can correct the mistake.

Tenkashu Garden
2003-2004

This dream was started back in 1999, and has been revamped more times than even I can remember. This is its final iteration. The name and the location both have a history in an RPG-like continuum I have in mind.
Autumn Lake
2004

I might run this one again sometime, just for kicks. It was fun. Doesn't have a credits file though, I should remedy that.
Moroccish Courtyard
2004

Because Ohdinn's patch was too darn good to pass up. That's why. Comfy, but a little too palatial when one got right down to it. Some elements of this dream's layout, like the underground baths, have since been recycled.

Utilities

Dreambuilding tools for the lazy.

PatchMerge and ColorSwitcher I've found to be insanely useful. I've looked all over and can't find a homepage for either of them, or find them archived elsewhere, so I'm making them available here.

FurShore By Sylia. Nifty DOS program that smooths out your map shorelines for you, as opposed to you having to go around your island and set the floor tiles yourself, which can be a major pain.
D.W.A.R.F By Siberian Ice. Very easy to use, makes walls and floors. Check out the handy tutorial before you decide to get frustrated. The walls in the Niche were made with this.
PatchMerge By Rey. Lets you swap items between fsh files to augment an existing one or create a new one. Items retain their initial fbj positioning, but not fbj properties. Scroll slowly, I've found that scrolling the window too quickly kills resources and crashes the program.
ColorSwitcher By Nikodemus? Not sure. This one was given to me by Amberwolf. Handy for batch-switching colors within the Furc palette. Will run slowly with large and/or complex objects
