Henshin Item: The Jade Crescent
- The last known surviving piece of Tartarus
Castle. Weapons: The WorldSpear - A little longer than the Time Key, the Spear consists of a plain golden shaft with groups of grooves cut into it at regular intervals. At the top is the Jade Crescent, in which the blade of the Spear is set, and at the bottom is a simple jade orb. Attacks: "Spatial
Shield" - Concentrates the fabric of
space around a particular area, creating an invisible shield. Abilities: SailorDís knows some very basic elemental magic taught to her by her mother (the activation of which involves tying strings or locks of hair into complex knots), and has some knowledge of tactics passed down to her by her father. She can also use the Spear as an ordinary weapon. Vulnerabilities: Distrustful. With her exile at Queen Serenity’s hands still fresh in her mind, Dís prefers to do things on her own without the help of any of the current Sailor Senshi. Unfortunately, that leaves her a target of both her ruthless enemies and her weary allies.
Mission: The World Guardian is charged with regulating interdimensional travel, specifically in her home World (out of the countless other Worlds that exist), hunting down and removing those who breach the WorldGate or gain entry by some other means. As the Senshi of the lost planet Charon, she can also aid the native Senshi of the Sol System when needed, though she rarely does. Unlike the Time and Spirit Guardians, it is unknown whether the World Guardian, due to the unique position she holds, is an entirely single-natured being. |
| Name: Isis Saito |
|
Likes: Windy days, foggy
mornings, Autumn afternoons, brushing her hair (or having it brushed), late
breakfasts, reading, long trips, museums, sightseeing, vivid dreams. Isis tends to follow the training of her childhood, carrying herself regally and speaking properly, though her manner of speaking has relaxed somewhat with exposure to other Worlds and time spent in this modern era. She has a slight, untraceable accent when speaking English, and is fluent in Japanese. She is reluctant to trust people and slow to warm up to them, being shy around strangers and very reserved. Privately, around friends, she’s more relaxed and prone to the occasional fit of quirky humor, mostly in the form of obscure puns and word play. Isis usually prefers to read newspapers or listen to the radio or television, but also enjoys books about foreign travels, and secretly likes well-written romances now and then. As she doesn’t usually stay long in any one place during her missions, Isis doesn’t have a lot of personal effects, but she does frequent libraries when she has the time, and remembers the library of Charon fondly. Personal History: Reawakening after her prison crash-landed in Tokyo Bay, Isis was confused, possessing only her Memory and the portion of Tartarus Castle that became her henshin item, the Jade Crescent. She later resumed her Guardianship in an effort to reclaim some of herself and to discover what had been happening in her absence. |

Charon: Once the sister-planet of Pluto, directly opposite its position along its orbital path around the borders of the Sol system, Charon was settled as a military outpost long before the rise of the Silver Millennium. Though Serenity later knew of the planet’s purpose, its corps of powerful elemental mages remained a closely kept secret until Charon’s destruction. During the early developments between the Dark and Moon Kingdoms, Chaos attempted to infiltrate Sol from without, mounting an attack on the fringes of the system. It was thwarted by the forces of Charon, led by the Queen, but at great cost. Backed by a powerful agent of Chaos, Charon’s foes were much more formidable than usual, but the majority was eventually defeated. The remainder and their commander led a last desperate rush against Charon’s forces, slaughtering over half of the army and killing the King in the process. Desperate and heartbroken, with her husband’s body still at her feet, the Queen raised the planetary forces of Charon itself, wiping out the horde of Chaos, but sacrificing herself and causing a deadly backlash of power into the Mages’ Cloister at the center of the planet. Charon’s atmosphere deteriorated quickly, forcing its inhabitants to relocate. By the fall of the Millennium, only the grounds around Tartarus Castle remained habitable, and Charon’s structure itself was growing unstable. Without its Senshi to keep it intact, Charon self-destructed shortly after her exile.
