Senshi - Civilian

REFERENCE

Senshi Name: SailorDemeter
Senshi Title: SailorLacertus
Senshi Type: Planetary/Lesser
Realm of Influence: Nature; plants and poisons.

Starseed:
Colors: Primary - Black, Secondary - Brown to Green, Tertiary - Green, Rust

Appearance: Demeter's fuku consists of a fitted, sleeveless black bodysuit with a high neck. It has a knee-length skirt, cut up the sides to the waist, which gradates from black to brown to green and has tattered hems. Her Sailor collar is the brown of dead leaves, also with tattered edges, and is held in place at her breast with a leaf-shaped piece of rusty-looking metal. The brooch sits at the center of a bow made of bright green cord which goes on to wrap several times around Demeter's ribcage and waist before ending at the small of her back in another, larger bow, which has dangling tails. She wears no jewelry aside from a rusted tiara set with a green stone, and a set of rusty shackles and neck collar.

Weapons: None

Attacks:

“Lamina Release”: When tackled or restrained, Demeter can shed portions of her skin in order to escape. For a short time afterwards, she is extra sensitive to light and touch until her new skin adjusts.
“Ambrosia Dagger”: Demeter can turn pieces of her own cast-off skin into lightweight slicing weapons, which she throws like knives.
“Soma Snare”: She can use her hair to entangle opponents for short periods of time. This entanglement can be broken, however, and the affected tendrils of hair disintegrate in a shower of falling leaves.
"Forbidden Fruit": Demeter's hair takes on the appearance of small ivy and grape leaves. The ivy is poisonous, but the grape leaves give off an enticing scent. Bunches of tasty-looking fruit appear between the leaves. Those touching the ivy leaves suffer from mild poison. Those who eat the fruit become intoxicated, and will lose consciousness if not stopped.

Abilities: Poison is naturally secreted from beneath her fingernails, and sometimes from the ends of her hair.
Vulnerabilities: Fire.
She is primarily suited to acting as an assassin or observer, and is very good at blending in with local flora. Demeter prefers to strike from the shadows or while otherwise unobserved, and will sometimes panic if exposed suddenly.

Senshi History: Formerly SailorLacertus, Senshi of an unknown planet somewhere in the Lacertae Galaxy, and presumed now to be the last of her race. She was overlooked by Galaxia, as her Starseed was dormant and her planet appeared deserted (actually, the inhabitants hibernate for years at a time, and live at a much slower pace than the life forms on Earth do). Discovered by Sammael during his time away from the Sol system when her Seed finally awakened, she was speedily taken from her home, and having had no real contact with others, has no real concept of good or evil.

Name: Unknown
Age: Unknown; at least 1,000
Height: 5'6", thin and lithe.
Skin: Greenish.
Eyes: Gold; large, with horizontal pupils.
Hair: Extremely long, trailing on the ground and thick enough to act as a cloak, Demeter's hair is composed of vinelike tendrils. It began to turn brown shortly after she was removed from her homeworld, and is currently brown from the crown of her head to the level of her chin. Her hair usually covers most of her face, and on occasion her body as well, and appears leafy. It's also been known to move around on its own from time to time.

Dream: Demeter wishes to return to her home planet, but is unaware that it died long ago, due in part to her Starseed's absence.

Personality: Some find her eerie but not threatening, as she looks fragile and is usually silent. Her voice, when and if she ever speaks, sounds sometimes like wind in leaves and sometimes like gentle rain on soil, though she doesn’t speak any Earth languages as far as anyone else knows. Although passive by nature, she deeply resents being separated from her planet, stripped of her title, and expected to take orders from what she considers to be an alien infant. She responds willingly only to her true Senshi title (and usually then only when Sammael addresses her), outright ignores Persephone, and won’t talk to the rest of the team at all.

Demeter has a thin, pointed face and no visible ears or protruding nose. Her fingers and toes are quite long, tipped with short, sharp claws. Like all of her race, she sheds her skin completely once a year.
